Sorry but i have to disagree with Dick B, my 82 has an AC Delco starter, from the replies Dwayne may

be in England if so give OCW of perivale a ring they supplied my new starter last year.

They probably think you have an Impala, not an Imperial.   Imperials do not use Delco starters!  That is for a GM car.
