You may want to try having the one you already have rebuilt.
They are the same from 59-62. You may also want to try getting a used one. I've
had better luck with used then buying rebuilt off the shelf. I bought a used one
once for a 63 Imperial I used to own, & it was in there for at least 11
years & still working fine when I sold the car. I do have a rebuilt one that
I bought in 1989 according to the date the store wrote on the box for my 60, but
haven't yet needed it. The number on the box & tag on the starter is;
34-1043. It was rebuilt by Arrow.

Dwayne,
Acvcording to my interchange manual, the
part number you want is 1889200. Suitable for 59-61 Imperial. Have you
tried A-Z Motor Accessories in Watford? The have obtained some very useful
parts for me in the past.
Good luck,
Tony V.
Good
luck
