Hi List,
The great 55 Imperial Coupe on Ebay did not sell. The high bid was
$19,601.00 which did not meet the reserve. I was looking at my new edition
of Old Cars Weekly and the car is advertised in the Chrysler for sale
section for $30,000.00 obo. I guess that must be closer to the reserve
price that he was asking. I don't understand why he started the bidding at
$5,000.00 if his price was so far away. I guess this gives the bidder a
false sense of the real asking price. I still don't think that his asking
price is all that out of line when mid fifties Chevy's are going for what
they are. I have heard of these mid fifties Imperials going for that and
more.
