i took a 57 imperial and installed a 57 desoto manual brake pedal and
mount with a late model dodge van duel mc ,.everthing bolts up,,no power
assest,,it stoped better than any power brakes ive drove in that
era,,.the brake pedal uses a different ratio to the mc for
pressure..duel mc,s are much more effective for stopping if set up
correctly..go find a 70s to late 80s dodge van 1 ton with manual brakes
and drive it ,,very suprising for a truck weighing app 6000 # ,,,.rick
