I found myself in a NJ "nothing over a dollar store" when I saw shelves filled with Type A transmission fluid in 32oz. bottles. Worried that I might be really looking at mislabeled pink cooking oil I checked out the manufacturer's (PITT/PENN) web site. Looks like my '55 may get real Type A on the next fluid change.
