If you have a fuel gauge that doesnt read full
after filling it up,check the sender unit at the tank.The connection between the
wire and the stud it plugs into can become corroded.Corrosion is resistance and
the gauge reads resistance.Take some WD-40 or something similar,remove wire from
stud on tank,spray both the stud and inside the wire connector,then push the
connector on and off a couple of times.This loosens the corrosion.To stop
the connector from developing more corrosion in it coat the connector with
Dielectric grease.
