IML - 440 keeps running even after its turned off?

You did mention hydrolock as water doesn't compress. The 'safe' way to do
this would be to use a little spraybottle and spray a fine mist over the
carb. Works wonders, but it won't cure the problem of running cheap gas or
too rich etc etc. It'll de-carbonize the cylinders..

would rev the engine to about 2000-3000 rpm, then SLOWLY pour a glass of
water down the carb (he poured it a heck of a lot faster than I would
