Hi Denis, Sorry but i don't have a spare top switch.. The wrecked car i've is a '57 4dr HT so .. no switch. Mine was also repaired (in Africa ?) but fortunately it works ! Have you try to ask one to Bob Hoffmeister (impparts@xxxxxxxxx) or Lowell Howe ? They have convertible parts and i believe that 57..59 switch are the same (# 1779 802 but other Mopar switch will work, difference is the knob lever). Perhaps you could use another system which avoid burning of inside contacts (current is around 40 A !). Try to find a small "on/off/on" rotating switch (adapt the original knob lever) and wire it to 2 strong relays ( i.e used for halogen additional headlights ) hidden somewhere. So the current would be kept in the relays and not in the switch. Don't forget to put the original circuit breaker on the feed wire (or a 50A fuse !!) I wonder why Chrysler didn't use relays to carry such amperage: they used relays for horns but not for top or power seat.. -- Philippe COURANT (Pau, France) Imperial 57 Crown convertible Buick 58 Roadmaster sedan - American Car Club de France (ACCF) : http://www.accf.com - Chrysler Imperial France : http://www.ifrance.com/c-i-f - Cadillac " Standard of Excellence " : http://www.ifrance.com/accf-cad - SportsCars : http://www.ifrance.com/accf-sprtcar
