I guess you could call me a Carlisle "veteran", as I have been attending Carlisle events since the first one in Fall 1974! Yes, you can drive your show car off the grounds at the end of each day, but try to get back in early the next morning, before 8 a.m. After that, the traffic really starts to back-up. For the main Spring and Fall events, we are usually at the fairgrounds by 6:30 a.m.! For the Chrysler Nationals, though, before 8 is early enough. Have a great time!
