As some of you may know, former President Truman owned 18 cars from 1934 to his
death in 1972. Of these vehicles, 12 were Chryslers. I believe all of his
"personal" cars were Chrysler products.

1968 Imperial LeBaron (black) (please note IMP content)
1972 Chrysler Newport (green)
I would very much like to find an on-line photo of either, preferably the
Newport. I know I've seen a picture of the Newport somewhere on-line, but I
cannot find it. The photo is a head-on B&W shot showing the big toothy grille,
and I believe it may have a vanity plate.
If anyone can provide a link, or has the photo in their hard-drive, I would
appreciate having it.
The buck stops here and although I'm not from Missouri, my home state also
