I reached into the back > seat and pressed > the window switch, and it worked! Not very well, but it > was alive! carefully soak all of the switches with contact cleaner (out of their sockets so that you can shake the switch and get the solvent swirled around inside. Allow to dry thoroughly. Then go after the connectors at the motor in the door. Make certain that the grounding strap that also holds the motor in is scuffed shiny on the inside where it touches the power window motor body that you just scuffed with steel wool to ensure that you have a good ground. The motor may be stiff. Disconnect from the window mechanism, touch it to the metal of the door somewhere that you get a good ground and hit the juice. It should operate feely in both directions. After all of this, clean all of the window mechanisms with evaproating degreaser or take out and use real grease cutter and then lubricate once the degrease has evaporated, not before. Electrical motors and connections in these cars tend to get stale after 30 years. ===== Kenyon Wills 6o LeBaron - America's Most Carefully Built Car 73 LeBaron - Long Low & Luxurious __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
