Just a reminder, Fellow Imperialists there will be a joint Houston, Austin
and San Antonio Mopar Club Meet tomorrow in Bastrop, Texas. Its just our
friendly annual get together. It could be a good way for some of you to
meet other Mopar enthusiasts from your neck of the woods. Dr. Mopar's scrap
yard is nearby, and the rather fabulous Central Texas Automobile Museum,
too.
Directions? Hmmm. Been there many times. Could drive there half asleep,
but am having difficulties giving directions. It's at the city park, NOT
NOT NOT the state park nearby. It's down by the river. You virtually drive
over it as you drive in on the main road from Austin. Take a left after you
cross the big old bridge as you enter town, then another left at the end of
maybe two blocks. Follow the road around and there is a very steep road
down to your right. That's the road down into the park, which is at river
level.
Um, good luck. Did I mention it is NOT at the state park?
