Hey all it's Sonny i was wondering if we can plan another meet like this for the summer or later on in the yr..for one thing my car is still in a few pieces and i had to work my second job that weekend (to quicken the restoration of my imp)but i would love to try and meet all in a few months. Or if something is going down this summer please keep informed. Also that license plate on e-bay is up for grabs. The bidding got to pricey for my blood and somebody emailed me that the plates were unique so go for it...have a good day all...Sonny 68'sedan -----Original Message----- From: Brooks Harkey [mailto:vm.dude@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 28, 2002 8:36 AM To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: IML: Dallas Meet 3/23/2002 kwdata@xxxxxxxx wrote: >I'd like to take just a minute to thank everyone who showed up at the >meet this past weekend. We ate (twice). We browsed Brooks' indoor wrecking yard, where nothing is for sale. We rolled up the windows on my '61, at Haden's insistence and assistance with his power pack, since the battery was dead. Despite my warnings to "stay on the gravel", Hugh thought his '58 was exempt and he could float on the boggy clay not once, but TWICE, so I got to pull him out with the tractor. Twice. I thought by now Hugh would post a 3,000 word essay on how much fun we all had! (;-D) Did everyone make it home to their respective corners of the State (and northward)? --Brooks
