> Mike, I am curious as to how you managed to sink 3K > on mechanicals on an when I first got the car, i paid a thousand dollars to have the brakes professionally done. Waste of money that was, but I got 2 new loaded calipers and new rear brakes as well...I got a new battery and the exhaust repaired in that, too. 1000 so far. I've shucked out about 500 to get the A/C working...and another 200 for tires, plus 300 for the new electronic ignition, with new cap, wires, plugs, etc 2000 so far. dual exhausts cost me nearly 500, new radiator was 300, alternator, belts, hoses are another 100, and I'm sure there's 100 more tied up in odds and ends. 3000 so far. I've also got a nice stockpile of NOS and good used chrome going, for when I finally get her painted. Prolly about 500 in Imperial parts sitting in my bedroom. I do need to replace bushings, and repair the front anti-sway bar, plus paint the thing...I'm probably looking at 2000 to 2500 more to have her where I want her. ===== --Mike Pittinaro Christmas is over now So I'm changing my haiku Thank you, David Brown __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
