This afternoon before leaving for work I checked the oil in my '59, and noticed it was down a quart. I had a container of Slick 50 sitting in my garage for some time now, so I decided to throw it in. The car seemed to run quieter and smoother on the way to work, but it wasn't till I arrived home tonight that I could physically feel the difference. When I put it in neutral the idle was extremely smooth, and without the usual vibration, since I have two weaker cylinders. Maybe it's the culmination of driving the car to work everyday this week, in order to give it some good freeway time, but I think the Slick 50 had something to do with it. I just hope it lasts, everyday my baby is running better and better, and I have not seen fluid leaks in the parking lot all week! The reality is starting to sink in, I've got a second real nice car, and not just a novelty or toy!
