Greetings fellow IML/OIC members. Kenyon Wills here, reporting LIVE, from the Year-by-Year pages, where one particular page has experienced a deluge of new material, vaulting it to the forefront of the Online Imperial Club page-content race. Before the new page is revealed, I would like to note that this is made possible by the hard work of Mike & Christine Trettin, our persistent, consistent, masters of content. Each item represents hours of work invested in scanning and then manipulating these items, most of which are larger than the 8.5 x 11 scanner bed that is the tool used. They must be painstakingly reconstructed to match pixel to pixel so that your potential printout can come out seamlessly, and even in full original size. Feel free to visit these pages all of your garage and office cubicle decorating needs. Mike, my fedora is off to you! I want to call your attention to the plight of your own car's yearly page (been by lately? Tsk Tsk!). Unless you are related to Hugh Hemphill by model year (1958), I know of no other yearly pages that are really resembling "complete". I have previously solicited people for help in getting their items for posting and have gotten just 4 responses out of 500+ IML members (and happy to have them!). There has to be more stuff in drawers and behind workbenches out there! Please consider returning the positive energy that you get here by rummaging for anything related to your car that you might contribute. One does not, after all, own an Imperial or belong to this list casually. I am hoping to hear from you at: imperialist60@xxxxxxxxx Foruntately, I have been active on eBay and other venues to the delight and dismay of fellow IML people, snapping up other years' items as well as the one just completed. Mike currently has a giant stack of other ads and related items from me that cover all years and is extensive to say the least. I predict that we can easily quadruple the amount of material on the site from its current state. -And yes, I have even covered the wild and irresponsible NYB years in my searhes for Imperial reated material as well. All will be posted online in good time. If you run across anything that says "Imperial" on it (I even have some Aussie Imperial Humber ads!), or see anything even remotely relevant (such as the station wagon ads that actually list Imperial on them), PLEASE!!! Help by lending them to us so that we can scan them and return them to you. I really hope that the following page link will spur you to action. So, without further blather: -ON WITH THE SHOW-!
