The 305 hp 383 was the standard engine in the '60 DeSoto Adventurer. This engine had a 2-bbl carburator, while the optional 325 hp version had a 4-bbl. There was also a very rare optional ram induction motor with two 4-bbls. I think the horsepower was rated at 345, but not sure. I'll check my literature ASAP.
