IML: FLOATING POWER

This is from the Allpar website in a writeup about the 1931 Plymouth PA 
model:

"The big news in the engine department was not really the engine, but rather 
the method of mounting the engine into the chassis. "Floating Power" it was 
called, and it would become a Plymouth (and Chrysler Corporation) trademark. 
Interestingly enough, the Plymouth was the first car in the Corporation to 
use Floating Power but it would soon be adopted not only across the board in 
the Corporation's own cars within 6 months, but other makers would adopt it 
(paying royalties for its use) as well."
