| Steve, the Malibu Tan is a wonderful car to start from (my ol' Pinkie was the same color). I REALLY like the way the tinted glass goes with that color in the sun! I know of three such Tan 61 coupes, besides yours, BTW. That said, restoration is supposed to be FUN! Don't go broke doing it, and don't feel bad if it's not Pebble-Beach perfect! Also, assuming you're not made of JayLenoBucks, don't look at it as a one-shot event, but rather a journey that has as much value on the way as once, if ever, complete. Fix what needs fixing, spend at a rate you can live with, and Drive, Man, Drive!

The US Dollar is losing ground against the Euro right now and the price of fuel is going through the roof. Plus Winter is coming up quick (except for our Australia and New Zealand friends). It appears there is no interest in the two Imperials I had located…a 60 and 61 4 dr Southhamptons…and that I had listed on this forum. Thus I have dropped that project altogether.
