for your 73 Imperial: You might be able to beat the dent out in the meantime, until you replace it. You might be able to straighten up the pickup, but that should also be replaced. This happened to my 1972 Fury Custom Suburban's 400 and I wound up replacing the pan and the pickup. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR IMPERIAL UNTIL YOU HAVE FREED UP SOME SPACE IN THE PAN!
