I live in Oregon and I run the 190 to 195 Degree
therostat al the time I make sure the engine is tuned and timed
right. Runs better and get better milage. Just seems to like the
heat up to a point. Racing engines do not need a 195. I like the 180
for racing..

Rob, the 195 thermostat is intended
for later model cars with small blocks, but will fit our engines as well.
