hi Club, Today my 67 'vert [black with white leather interior] will cross the border at Detroit/Windsor, the busiest border crossing in the world they tell me, and become a Canadian.

She will be dropped at a leading Windsor Chrysler garage [by the nice fellow I found in Michigan willing to do this for me - many carriers wouldn't  cross the border] where the techs [formerly no less reverently called mechanics] will fight over who does the 60 point winter inspection.  The Halifax car carrier who will pick up the car said they will only pick up from a commercial address.

I have asked for a tune up, change of fluids, etc.  I can only imagine the brake inspection - when they see those Budd babies they wont know what to say.

Wish me luck with the 'birthing' or 'delivery' of my new baby !
