IML: 61 Conv top bow color?

Hey ya'll:
I am about to sand and repaint the top mechanism before the fabric is put on. Are all 61 convts gray, or is there a color specific to body and or interior color. It is currently a light gray. The car is black with red interior. Does this make any difference? thank you in advance, joe machado
