IML: 1968 Imperial Convertible with 59,000 miles for sale on Long Island in New York

Ladies and Gentlemen:
 
I am offering my beautiful 1968 Imperial convertible for sale. I am the  
third owner. The car is currently located on Long Island in New York.  Photographs

I'll be listing the car for sale on the club website shortly. The car is  
being offered for sale as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees,  
expressed or implied. I've owned the car since the spring of 2002 and used it  only 
sparingly, and only in "convertible" weather.  I'm selling the  car primarily 
because I just don't have the time to enjoy it the way it should  be enjoyed. 
To the best of my knowledge there are no major mechanical problems  which 
would deter from the safe enjoyment of the car. I'm comfortable enough  with the 
car to say that I'd confidently drive it anywhere.
 
I will shortly be offering the car for sale locally (one person has already  
expressed an interest but nothing firm has materialized) but before I do so I  
wanted to offer it to the people on the list because I truly love this 
vehicle  and I know that if anyone on this list were to buy it that it would be 
properly  cared for. When I post it for sale on the club website I'll add many 
more  details, including any known shortcomings. In the interim please feel free 
to  email me with any questions. My asking price is $14,990 (fourteen thousand 
nine  hundred ninety dollars).
