TomIt is a very good price for the package ... but. The motor home 383, 400, 413 or 440 has nuthin for an compression ratio, heads that are from the Tank Division ( and exhaust manifolds ) with the water pump unit unique to this set up.If one was to swap the heads, exh manifolds, cam and the water pump unit for the car or pick up truck style, they will still a lower powered engine that what other Imperial cars will have of the same era since it is an 413.The transmission and torque convertor are keepers though for any Imperial.Rodger & GabbyCOS----- Original Message -----From: TomCSent: Wednesday, August 29, 2007 12:56 PMSubject: IML: 413 Motor and transmissio
In case anyone is looking for a 413, I came across one on the weekend. It is
a 413 and auto transmission from a 1972 Motor home. Runs fine and is totally
complete. The owner is asking $300.00 for it. I was tempted, but I already
have 2 spare motors and my wife was giving me threatening looks :-))
If anyone is interested, contact me and I will put you in touch with the
owner. It is located in Madera, California.
