Some valves haven't been serviced for so long that they are not going to be freed up using one of these products. The products work well to keep the valve from becoming stuck, but not necessarily to unstick a stuck valve. This usually requires repair, which usually requires removal of the manifold. I had purchased it for my 69 in 1972. It was a spray and freed it up when it would begin to start to stick. Æyn --- Joe Strickland <jwstrick426@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
There is an extensive set of discussions on the Club website at: http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Exhaust/riser.htm That being said, one item mentioned was a GM product for lubricating the exhaust riser valve assy. Does anyone know what this consisted of, or if it is still available? Joseph W.
