I called all the normal sources for brake parts on the '62 models without success when looking for brake shoe return springs. Included were these vendors: Andy Bernbaum, Jackson's Old Time Parts, Northwestern Auto Supply. The last one, Northwestern Auto Supply told me to try A & D Antique Auto Parts, located in North Royalton, Ohio, phone no. 440-237-9300. He told me to ask for "Doug" and tell him that "Laney" at Northwestern Auto Supply had referred me to them. A & D Antique Auto Supply had the correct springs for '62 Imperials with 12" brakes. I ordered enough to do the rear shoes on my car. I was treated with courtesy and prompt response by both Northwestern Auto Supply and A & D Antique Auto Supply. A & D Antique Auto Supply said that they have quite a lot of MOPAR parts for older cars. The only carry parts for USA made cars. Check with them if you are having trouble finding parts for your car.
