Thanks for clearing that up!I suspected that, but I had forgotten that the "disc brakes" were still being offered by that time. The design started in the very late 40's/early 50's and I have seen it in action on some Chrysler Town and Country's (I think 1950). I believe that 1955 was the first year that the M/C appeared on the firewall in regular production Chrysler cars. Prior to that it was under the floor.
Now I want to check my books and see if the '56 limo was set up the same way.
