IML: IML and OIC History

Hi All -
The Imperial Club is planning to create a web page with the early
history of the website (OIC) and the mailing list (IML). We would
like the history to come from many points of view.
The stories should be of a period before December 31, 1998. That
covers the period of transition from Tony Lindsey to the
all-volunteer IML and website still operating today.
If you would like to contribute to this history - your story or
recollection of how the IML or the Imperial website developed -
please send those stories directly to me at
bsbrbank@xxxxxxxxxxxx Let me know if your story should remain
anonymous or if you want it credited to you.
Jeff Ingraham's message from yesterday which documents the first IML
members is posted at http://www.vmfa-314.com/iml-members.htm. (The
original message listed the cars they owned - now deleted because
it's not very relevant and I rather not see it in the mail Digests I
get 40 more times from guys who don't take the effort to trim their replies!).
Thanks!
Bob Schmitt

Hi,
I was digging around for this message from 1997 from Tony and
found it so I thought I would pass it along now that I found it.
Here is his message listing the earliest members of the IML. It is
nice to see a number of us are still here!
:-)
