yep, i found only 1 bank of fuses, none of them for the lighting curcuit apart from back up and they work ! other fuses were for air and cigar - is there another set of fuses hidden ?

Hmm.. that is a strange story Steve!I can't see how the temp gauge wiring interacts with the brake lights.Maybe the 12 Volt power supply wire that is going to the voltage regulator inside the temp gaugehas been shorted to ground?In that case a fuse in the fusebox may have blown, and if the same circuit that is protected by this fuse is also supplying the power for the brake lights you problem might be solved.So my advise would be to check those fuses in the fusebox first!Good luck,RobertOriginal Message -----From: stephen dilleySent: Friday, July 06, 2007 2:25 PMSubject: IML: iml 60 brake light switch/fuse?hi all, av a problem.. the other day a mate shorted the temp guage wires and now i dont have any brake lights ? cant locate a specific fuse, can anyone help ?? many thanks.
