A good rule to follow is look at the cylinder heads
on any engine. The front of the cylinder head that is closest to the front of
the car is almost always the one with the #1 cylinder. The only exceptions I've
seen are some newer front wheel drive General Motors V6's. As far as I know all
Chrysler products have the number #1 cylinder on the driver (left)
side.
