This Imperial-only rear air unit was first used in the
1964 models.  Last year was 1973.

It's compact size and excellent cooling capacity make
it a great unit to use for installing A/C in any car
of any year.   That way one could have a very clean
A/C installation without having to alter the dash or
the existing heater/defroster controls.  This unit
also uses the same blower switch and wiring as used
for rear defroster fans.
