Jerry, there is  another place to look for engine ID's, on the passenger side of the engine, just above the oil pan about where the middle freeze plug is, and the block casting number, above the starter. That number will read with a 6-7 digit number, a - and then 318, 360. Kind of hard to see, but it's there. Dave.
