Be sure it is for tilt wheel if that is what you have. The not tilt are more available at a more reasonable price.John----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Strohmeyer" <chrisstroh@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 01, 2007 9:58 PM Subject: Re: IML: 67 Imperial turn signal sw-w/tiltI'm seeing ones for mine for $120. I have to be frugal because everything I buy for it seems to be around $100. Napa has what they call a repair kit but I haven't seen it. I may just take a look to see what it is.Chris 67 Imperial Convertible----- Original Message ----- From: "john sadowski" <jsadowski@xxxxxxx>To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 01, 2007 8:28 PM Subject: Re: IML: 67 Imperial turn signal sw-w/tiltI need the same one for my 69, but I'm not willing to pay in the neighborhood of $250 for it. I only have to move it back to cancel after a left turn, so I'll live with that until I find a deal someplace.John----- Original Message ----- From: "Ken Lang" <ken@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 01, 2007 5:19 PM Subject: RE: IML: 67 Imperial turn signal sw-w/tiltWell, it looks like I'll be in the market for one those myself. I justfinished diagnosing the non-working brake lights on my 67 and everything is pointing to the turn signal switch. (there's something to be said for havingdetailed schematics) But I couldn't pull the steering wheel off todaybecause my puller is at work. So I'll get it pulled off tomorrow eveningand see what's wrong with it. They had a bunch of them - I bought two of them at that time (both are in my cars now - not for sale!) Theseare more recently manufactured units with much improved plastics - they don't seem to fail the way the original ones did. If you find one on eBay, watch out for the original ones with the white plastic parts that snap off when they get old.The newer ones have a reddish plastic which is really tough. If they are inthe original MOPAR boxes, they will have the date of manufacture on the boxes - the ones I bought were made in the late 80s.
