Ray,
I'm completing the restoration of my '63 'vert and the digging I did was
that it, indeed, came with Imperial emblems on the sides and on the
trunk. the holes were factory drilled.
Although the catalog shows the Imperial emblems, I don't know of any
LeBarons that actually had them. They've all been bare on the sides with
the only markings being the cloisonne' crest on the C pillars. The
trunklid was marked with "LeBaron" in place if Imperial.
We'd love to get some pictures of your 'verts on the website. Contact me
offlist.

So the conclusion is 63 convertibles did not come with the gold "Imperial"
emblem on the fenders.
If anyone has the correct chrome emblems for sale please let me know. I am
looking for one for the left fender.
