Since I just did them
on my ?62 LeBaron a few weeks ago it?s not that bad to tackle
it.
Just remove the big
Phillips head screw at the back of the chrome part. That will loosen
up
the red plastic part
and it will come straight out with the wire. Then remove the 3 small
Phillips head screws from the back of the red plastic part and that will get
you into the bulb socket for replacement. As with any vintage plastic
parts don?t tighten it too tight or it will bust it!

Imperial Taillight Bulbs
OK, call me a fool, stupid or
crazy. But . . . I have yet to figure out how to replace the bulbs in my
'62 Imperial. Surely you do not have to disassemble the entire tail
light assembly ... I hope!
