Engine oil choice should be: What ever works, for you. If you like 10w30, great. I use HD 40, in every thing, but my 98 Lincoln MK8LSC.(15-40) The most important thing to remember, is to Change it regularly. The fact is, if the engine is worn, a heaver grade of oil would be a good idea. The other thing to do: change the oil pump, to a new HI-VOLUME pump. This is really easy for 361-440 engines. You Hemi Guys, have to drop the pan. Well all this YAT-TYA-YATA. is only sharing, GOOD information, and LOTS of experience. Ya'll have a nice day Dave.
