Welcome Matthew,
Good luck on looking for your first car.  With your dad on your side I'm 
sure you'll do fine.  I understand the reasons for waiting until you 
complete your move to buy, but you might want to consider buying a car in 
Arizona.  Almost any car you come across in Ohio is going to have some rust, 
whereas it is rare in Arizona.  We folks back east are constantly shipping 
rust free bodies and parts from Arizona/Nevada.  You might want to consider 
it.
