When I had a vinyl top I would use "Armor All" whenever I would wax the car. This worked for me, but now I have a Silvercrest top that is baked enamel and I would like to clean it, but I don't know whether to wax it or use the Armor All? There are a few spots that are starting to have surface rust form.
I have this problem of surface rust starting to form on the paint from a prolonged storage of 17 years. The car has the original paint and I am going to take it to a local body shop to see if it can be buffed out. I do not really want to repaint it as I want to take it to the car show and enter it as an "Unrestored Post War" vehicle. I too would like some suggestions.
