I started up my 62 Imperial Crown convertible last Sunday, and when it started the starter kept running. So, I clicked the key on and off a few times, and after a few trys, the started dis-engaged and all was OK.Pulled in out of the garage, turned it off. A little later took the car out to dinner. Had dinner, started fine after dinner.Drove back home, about 15 minutes., backed it into the garage, Turned it off. Then tried to start again and nothing happened. The red light, oil pressure, came on, and the guages worked, but not even a grunt from the starter. Is the solenoid fried? Any ideas - suggestions? thanks, Bob 62 & 63 Imperials _________________________________________________________________Don't just search. Find.
