Here's what I do and it works great.

Mix a little corn starch with water.  About a tablespoon in a 1/4 cup
of water.  Stir it around and while the corn starch settles out, wet a
paper
towel with the watery part.  Wipe the window and you will be amazed.

Keep using clean towels as you go, and stir up the mixture every
once in a while (make it cloudy).
