Re: IML: Too many e-mails

Following the rules helps.

One of them has been that if the note is going to start with a person's name, don't post it to the list. Post it privately. Another one is no one-liners like "Thanks!", or "Me too".  How about Imperial related material only?

I am guilty of breaking that last one here and now, but why do we have to keep traveling down this road? I find it simple enough to run through about 30 notes in no more than 15 minutes. The only time it takes longer is if I decide to reply to something. If I can't help or the post doesn't interest me, I move on by clicking "next" or "delete".

I think that the good stuff far outweighs the bad, so I like the IML just the way it is.

Subject: IML: Too many e-mails

Too many e-mails Well here are some suggestions and I'm sure there are more;

1) List them in similar years order I.e. 80- 83, 90 -93, etc

2) Make a category on repairs; i.e.; how to clean windows, wire hubcaps, headliners etc.

3) Log in to a favorite topic/bank of search words for discussions.
