As a side note, there is an aftermarket window motor available as well. It?s made by Siemens, and looks different than the original. It worked on my front doors, but the way the motor mounts it did not fit the rear doors. The motor wanted to share the same space as the window track. I got mine from the local AutoZone. They didn?t have a listing for a ?67 Imp, so I told them they were for a ?85 Diplomat. The Siemens motors probably would have worked in the Dippy?s rear doors. Actually, the *motor* is the same for all four doors; the only difference is in the gearbox that attaches to the top of the motor. The gearbox is bolted to the window mechanism, so that's where the difference is per side. It's really pretty easy to swap the gearboxes on these motors.
