RE: Re: IML: Fan Clutch

I had to take the fan clutch back, as the shaft was too long. However, NAPA did have the proper one; the part number for 64 Imperial is 2705.  Still only 40 bucks.

Their website shows this available & ships in 5 days. Part number 4846, price $60.99. It fits all Imperials from 60-75 as well many other applications.

The last one I bought came from Schucks/Checker over the counter. It cost about $35.00. I may have been lucky, but I never have had difficulty getting that part. It probably fits many different newer cars/trucks/motor homes. All factory A/C cars came with one. Some folks also added them to their non A/C cars, but it shouildn't have been necessary to do that. If you don't want to deal with a parts counter, try the web.
