How exact do they need it? According to a Motor Trend road test on the website, the ‘68 LeBaron weighed 5,284 lb. You can guess your Crown is close to that, maybe less or maybe more (depending on options, which were not included in the base curb weight spec).

The ever-greater-taxing authorities of the Peeples Republik of  Washington have tossed us another fee, this time on weight of our  vehicles, in addition to all the other fees and charges. The notice I  received requires that I provide them with the weight of my 1968 Crown.  They say they do not have this info on file in their title dept -  something I have a bit of a problem believing, as it's on every other  title I've ever had issued in Washington!

My owners manual does not reveal this number. Short of taking Lucille  up to the rock quarry and running her across the certified scale - can  anyone tell me what my darling behemoth weighs?
