You might be better off to locate a rebuild shop & have them rebuild yours.

Subject: IML: Alternator for a 1969 Imperial Lebaron.

I need information regarding the dual pulley alternator for a '69 Imperial Lebaron 4 door with all the toys. Seems like this was a one off unit used only for 1969. In the 1969 Service Manual it is called an insulated brush alternator with a positive brush that has a secondary attachment to the positive rectifiers. Instead of a mechanical regulator, it uses a transistorized regulator part number 2875400. any info as to the part number, amp rating or where I can find one would be much appreciated. Thanks.
