Switch to a mechanical secondary Quadrajet and forget about the small crap. Formulate the
correct intake and cam for the work to be done and get on with yourself. Geez !
I have a nice Q-Jet ready to go, and want to know what tonnage, tranny, and final ratio you
have, size of tire, and how you want to run your car.
Bone stock ? Have a 383, 413, 440, what..........
A slight change in performance ? Cam, intake, head swap, carb..........
Or do you want to be able to really get out of the way ? A 440 crank & rods into a 400, 906
heads, JVX adapter to place a four-speed automatic (518) behind it, and finish the final with a
Lincoln 9" with a 2.75:1..............on the cheap ! $1,600 for 455HP from slap-on parts.
NOW you have the BEST of THREE WORLDS !
1. 21MPG (if you keep your foot out of that Q-Jet)
2. You can smoke & burn your 15's for a whole block
3. The ratio and setup will attain 147MPH, so you better have HH tires replace those gumballs.
Give me your Machine's paramenters............

Subject: IML: Need A Choke Pull Off Rebuilt for A 65
Date: Sun, 25 Jun 2006 17:25:31 -0400
Has anyone delt with a company that rebuilds the choke pull off for a 65? I had bought this one NOS a couple of years ago, and should of known that it probably wouldn't last long when in actual use. I would rather have mine redone this time with a new rubber diaphram. Any suggestions? Rob Kidd 61/65
