IML: 65 Crown For Sale

Hi List,

 

I’m only going to mention this here because I spotted it the local Good Guys magazine, and the owner is not a member of IML.  But I’d rather see a member of the club have a shot at it before someone snatched it up to use in a demo-derby.

 

The add reads as follows.

 

1965 Chrysler Imperial 413, solid original w/dual air/auto trans.  $3500  (it is a 2 door coupe)

 

I called the gentleman and talked with him a bit.  It is an original California car and still has the original black & yellow license plates. (currently non-op’d)  He says the car has been sitting for several years but they did start it recently.  Says he thinks the fuel pump might be bad or the fuel lines clogged as it would only run for a few seconds and run out of gas.

 

The passenger door was replaced due to a dent but they still have the original door.
