IML: AC lines

All,

    I am in the process of getting my 63's AC restored.  I was thinking about polishing the AC hard lines like I saw on an Imperial at Hershey a few years ago.  I am looking for advice on what clear I can spray on the lines after I polish them to keep them from oxidizing.  I have found clears in acrylic and lacquer.
