Don't worry, Tim, Paul's not trying to turn your car into a Turnpike Cruiser! ;o) The trunk light switch is activated by a blob of mercury (not Mercury)--as the trunk lid is lifted, the switch pivots so that the mercury bridges two contacts to make the connection.Real funny!! Whats the deal.
